After a fantastic two years, the coaching staff and I have reached, yesterday, the end of our contracts.
I do not know what will happen, but if this were to be the end of our journey together, I can’t leave without sharing my gratitude.
Working and representing the Greek national team has been an absolute honour and pleasure.
Thank you to everyone who supported the team during this journey, the passion of the fans in this country is unmatched.
Of course, I would like to say a special thank you to each and every player. Your dedication and talent have been the cornerstone of our success over the past two years, and we will not let this week’s penalty shootout overshadow the incredible progress we’ve achieved together.
It’s an honour to work with such an exceptional group of players who are both class on and off the field. Who knows what the future will hold, if we keep going together or not, but one thing is certain – I will forever be a supporter of Greece 🇬🇷💙🤍.
